We believe in the power of Prevention Training.
Mr. Gordon provided his suicide prevention class, "Prevention Through Faith," for our school faculty last fall. Initially, I was skeptical about taking the course; I wasn't convinced it would be relevant to our students and thought I'd be in for a depressing afternoon. To my blitheful surprise, the class was not only educational, but pertinent, and uplifting, and left me feeling equipped to meet the needs of my students. After learning about the potential warning signs of suicide, my colleagues and I have been able to recognize and assist students who need extra help.
The prevention plan card was especially helpful! It gives me support in navigating a potentially difficult conversation with a student in crisis and is a good tool for anyone seeking to improve their mental health or even mindset in approaching the haps of life. Mr. Gordon's class has been an inimitable blessing to both my students and colleagues! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, regardless of profession, skill, or experience level.
Shout out to Matt Gordon of Quest Legacy for an outstanding seminar tonight! Matt's passion for suicide prevention and education is clear and his presentation of the course was passionate, energetic, and very comprehensible. I left not only feeling confident about my potential to step in and help my community in the time of a crisis, but also confident to step to the plate in various situations. I highly recommend Matt and his course! I look forward to more training with Matt and Quest Legacy!
Not only was this class informative, Matt kept the class positive and energized while teaching us the skills needed to help others in need.
I highly recommend this course to anyone who is in support of their family, neighbor, and most importantly our Military personnel and veterans alike. The course is intended to inform the community at large. More importantly, it develops Gatekeepers, the network necessary to intervene when the signs of suicide present themselves. The seminar is delivered with compassion, brevity, and energy. The experiences Matt shared from personal events as an advocate makes the QPR training seminar accessible and produces Gatekeepers that are confident and ready to rise to the challenge should it be presented.

The "Prevention Through Faith" and the QPR Suicide Prevention Certification program was top notch in helping me, as well as everyone else that benefitted from the course, understand the signs to look for in regard to someone contemplating suicide.
Thank you for hosting Vet Talk - Survival Seminar! Not only was this class informative, Matt kept the class positive and energized while teaching us the skills needed to help others in need.
This class had such an impact on our team at Revolution Church. Very well taught, and experience practicing. These are very hard conversations to prepare for but to be prepared could save a life. Training with the kids’ portion is heart breaking, however, to be open, aware and listening to our youth will also save lives. We will be using you all again.

As a pastor, I recently participated in the "Prevention Through Faith" suicide prevention training, and it was a transformative experience. This program is essential for pastoral staff, educators, and youth organizations dedicated to fostering hope and saving lives through Jesus Christ. The training combines deep insight into mental health issues with practical strategies and tools, all while seamlessly integrating biblical principles. I highly recommend this program for its powerful message of hope and its practical, faith-based approach to mental health.

Yes. To detect individuals who are suffering from thoughts of self-harm, PTF employs a Biblical worldview. The course explores healthy coping cycles (Alignment to God) and the crisis continuum (Sin Nature).By analyzing Scripture, we derive Biblical core values that are directly associated with coping mechanisms. This is foundational to the concept of Total Wellness. i.e. mind, body, and spiritual aspects that make us uniquely created in God's image.
