The "Prevention Through Faith" and the QPR Suicide Prevention Certification program was top notch in helping me, as well as everyone else that benefitted from the course, understand the signs to look for in regard to someone contemplating suicide.

This class had such an impact on our team at Revolution Church. Very well taught, and experience practicing. These are very hard conversations to prepare for but to be prepared could save a life. Training with the kids’ portion is heart breaking, however, to be open, aware and listening to our youth will also save lives. We will be using you all again.

Mr. Gordon provided his suicide prevention class, "Prevention Through Faith," for our school faculty last fall. Initially, I was skeptical about taking the course; I wasn't convinced it would be relevant to our students and thought I'd be in for a depressing afternoon. To my surprise, the class was not only educational, but pertinent, and uplifting, and left me feeling equipped to meet the needs of my students. After learning about the potential warning signs of suicide, my colleagues and I have been able to recognize and assist students who need extra help.

The prevention plan card was especially helpful! It gives me support in navigating a potentially difficult conversation with a student in crisis and is a good tool for anyone seeking to improve their mental health or even mindset in approaching the haps of life. Mr. Gordon's class has been an inimitable blessing to both my students and colleagues! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, regardless of profession, skill, or experience level.
